A synthetic fragment of Thymosin-β4 that accelerates cellular migration to damaged tissue — the recovery-focused partner to BPC-157.
Definition
TB-500 is a 43-amino-acid fragment of the naturally occurring protein Thymosin-β4. It binds G-actin and regulates the actin cytoskeleton, accelerating migration of stem and progenitor cells to sites of tissue damage. Preclinical evidence strongest for cardiac and musculoskeletal regeneration. Functions as part of the P3 Recovery stack alongside BPC-157.
How Meto uses it.
Dosing: TB-500 is dispensed at 2 mg per vial and reconstituted on arrival. Acute-repair dosing is 750 mcg twice weekly near the affected tissue for four weeks, tapering to 500 mcg weekly through week eight. Availability: Solo TB-500 is not currently available while awaiting FDA regulatory action.
Safety notes
- Contraindicated in active cancer diagnosis — the migration-activating mechanism has theoretical concerns
- Avoid in pregnancy and lactation
- Prohibited under WADA rules for tested competitive athletes
- Transient fatigue during the loading phase is the most common complaint
