Definition
CagriSema combines cagrilintide (a long-acting amylin analog) with semaglutide (a GLP-1 receptor agonist) in a single weekly injection. The two mechanisms — amylin and GLP-1 — are complementary, and phase-2 trials have shown weight-loss magnitudes approaching tirzepatide's.
How Meto uses it.
Not currently available at Meto — investigational as of April 2026, with phase-3 trials in progress. When FDA-approved and/or reclassified to compounding-eligible status, it will join the GLP-1 class of options.
