Selank is a synthetic seven-amino-acid peptide derived from tuftsin with added proline residues for stability. It was developed in Russia for clinical anxiety treatment and modulates GABAergic and serotonergic tone without the sedation or dependence profile of benzodiazepines. Standard dosing is intranasally (250 mcg, twice daily) or as oral drops.
