Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is a co-enzyme present in every living cell, essential for mitochondrial ATP production, sirtuin longevity-protein activation and PARP-mediated DNA repair. Common questions
NMN or NR orally — do those work as well?
Oral NR and NMN raise NAD+ modestly and require daily compliance. Subcutaneous NAD+ produces higher plasma levels with weekly dosing. IV is the heaviest hitter but requires a clinic visit.
Why does the injection feel strange?
NAD+ can produce a flush or chest-pressure sensation that lasts a few minutes — a known effect unrelated to allergic reaction.
Will NAD+ extend my lifespan?
