Definition
GHK-Cu (glycyl-histidyl-lysine complexed with copper) is a three-amino-acid peptide that decreases with age. It modulates expression of roughly four thousand human genes associated with tissue repair, inflammation and extracellular-matrix remodelling. Clinical applications include skin quality, wound healing, post-procedure recovery and systemic connective-tissue support, with activity via both topical and subcutaneous routes.
