Definition

Lipolysis is the enzymatic hydrolysis of triglycerides stored in adipocytes into glycerol and free fatty acids for metabolic use. Hormones like adrenaline, glucagon and growth hormone are pro-lipolytic; insulin is anti-lipolytic. Peptides in the fat-metabolism class (AOD-9604, Tesamorelin) drive lipolysis without triggering the insulin-resistance or glucose effects of full GH.
